The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (New Delhi) and is open to boys and girls from classes Nursery to grade XII. The medium of instruction is English and the students are also taught Hindi, Sanskrit and foreign languages. The curriculum which is devised at DSB is progressive, holistic and based upon the realities of contemporary pressure. The students' academic progress is closely monitored and encouraged for better performance.

Evaluation and Promotion
- Academic session is divided into two term; First term ( April to September) Second term ( October to March)
- No formal test or examination at pre primary level.
- Continuous comprehensive evaluation at all levels.
- Summative evaluation is done, one in each term, from grade VI onwards.
- Due weightage is given to project work activities and assignments.
Final assessment of the child and promotion to the next class is based on the performance throughout the session.
