As per the CBSE guidelines and circular DSB International Public School Gumaniwala, Rishikesh, conducted a Physical Activity through which Teachers sensitise the students about the harmful effect of excess oil consumption in daily diets and promote low fat, balanced eating habits on July 26, 2025 (Saturday). Activity was done by the students of class 6,7 and 8. 1.Activities Conducted: Warm-Up Routines: Stretching, arm circles, deep breathing Group Exercises: Jumping Jacks, Zumba. Team Games: Football 2. Display Board: Installed near the main corridor ,Content was created by the student of class 6,7 and 8. Highlights of the Oil Board: Visual comparisons of oily vs. healthy foods. Fat Facts” corner showing the oil content in Indian snacks like samosa, kachori, pakora, chips.

This landmark event, organised as part of DSB’s ongoing efforts to guide students towards informed career choices, saw the participation of 25+ prestigious Indian and International institutions including NMIMS, Alliance University, MIT-WPU, NITs, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, UID, Plaksha University, Shiv Nadar University, UPES, Chitkara, Liverpool and many more. The fair provided an engaging platform for students from Classes 11 and 12 to interact directly with university representatives, gain clarity on courses, admission processes, scholarships, and campus life. Each school was given dedicated time slots, ensuring that students could have meaningful one-on-one discussions with the representatives.

"A workshop on " Pubertal Changes, Menstrual Hygiene & Nutrition " was conducted for girl students of grades 6 to 9. The session, facilitated by Dr. Rajlaxmi Mundhra (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Dr. Rashmi Malhotra (Anatomy), and Dr. Kiran Meena (Biochemistry), covered essential topics such as physical changes during puberty, menstrual hygiene practices, and nutritional needs. The students actively participated in the discussion, gaining valuable insights and knowledge to promote their health and well-being. The workshop aimed to empower the young girls with accurate information and confidence to navigate this critical phase of life."

Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears and never regrets." - Keeping this thought in mind the Prize Distribution Ceremony of DSB International Public School for classes I to V was held on April 26, 2025 commencing at 11 am in the school auditorium with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event commenced with the lighting of the Diya symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana paying tribute to the goddess of learning. The event proceeded further with the distribution of certificates to the students of classes I, II and III, recognizing their achievements and hard work. The cultural program featured a mesmerizing choir - bhajans, which captivated the audience with its devotion and harmony. This was followed by a vibrant patriotic dance which instilled a sense of national pride and unity. The certificate distribution continued with classes IV and V being honoured for their outstanding performance. The event concluded with a heartfelt Thanks Speech by Principal Sir, expressing gratitude to all students for their hard work, teachers for their dedication and parents for their support and trust.
